I painted this using acrylics, the texture of the paint seems to add to the texture of scales. Tip: using the end of your brush, dip it in white paint and dab on the areas where the light is shining on the subject to make it seem 3D

Hi, sorry for not posting for a while, but I'll be posting lots of new work soon. This piece took a long time, I was interesting to explore how to create different textures using pen, it was really fun.
